Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Pharmacy Technologist school.
Experience: Minimum of one year (1) required, preferable in a hospital setting.
Technical Skills: Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
License/Certification: Current license as Pharmacy Technician in State of Nevada, PTCB Certification
