Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the workflow of the Senior Accounting Clerks handling split week cleans and VIP. Responsible for overseeing the accuracy of reconciliations and balancing performed relating to resort split week cleaning reports and VIP expense invoices. Maintain and enforce deadlines and cut offs for reports and invoice processing, and conveying information to Accounting Manager in accordance with departmental requirements. Resolve issues related to cleaning rates for split weeks and trash and tidy invoices. Responsible for the timely resolution of customer service issues for both internal and external customers. Responsible for training new clerks and reinforcing training with existing clerks on all procedural issues, and performance counseling as needed.

Responsibilities:

15%- Oversee and direct the workflow of Sr. Accounting clerks assigned to the split week cleans function. Set schedules for cut offs and enforce deadlines. Resolve issues surrounding split clean reports including but not limited to rates, request presentation, receipt of split week reports, formats of reports, and reimbursement issues. Review and sign off on all split week reports before submitting for payment.

10%- Oversee and direct the workflow of Sr. Accounting clerks assigned to the VIP invoice processing function. Set schedules for cut offs and enforce deadlines. Resolve issues surrounding VIP invoices including but not limited to rates, billing issues, receipt of invoices, formats of internally generated reports and reimbursement requests, and other issues as they arise.

15%- Review the Senior Accounting Clerk's work to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures. Sign off on weekly reports indicating review has taken place and validation of accuracy.

45% Special projects as assigned. Determine resources and tools necessary to complete project, and the complete.

15%- Coordinate and direct the training of new staff and existing staff. Provide ongoing training and development of each staff member including recognizing accomplishments, identifying individual areas for improvement, and coaching. Perform regular, scheduled employee reviews and recommend appropriate salary adjustments. Review timesheets, overtime, vacation requests for managers' approval. Ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Provide direction relating to the workflow of the split week clerk function.

Minimum Qualifications

-Associates Degree in business or computer related field or 2 years related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

-Bachelors degree in Accounting
-Two years of general accounting principles experience
-One year of mainframe computer experience

-Three years of MS Excel experience
-Two years of MS Office experience
-Two years of general office experience
-Two years of Accounts Payable experience
