Sr. Internal Auditor
We are currently seeking a Sr. Internal Auditor to join our Bally Audit team in Las Vegas.
This position plans, supervises, and executes independent audits, in accordance with departmental and professional standards, to examine, monitor, and evaluate the adequacy of the Company and its subsidiaries’ systems of internal controls and the degree of compliance with those controls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Aids in the planning and scope of assigned audits
Surveys functions and activities in assigned areas to determine and document the nature of operations, identifies key controls, and evaluates the adequacy of the system of internal controls to achieve established objectives
Employs the necessary procedures to collect, analyze, interpret, and document sufficient, competent, relevant, and useful information to provide a sound basis for audit findings and recommendations
Provides assistance to regulatory auditors and independent public accountants as assigned
Prepares comprehensive audit programs and conducts reviews in accordance with approved programs
Oversees assigned staff auditors on assigned SOX or Operational Audits
Conducts reviews of general computing control environments to determine whether there is an adequate internal control
Discusses findings and recommendations with operating and audit management during and at the conclusion of the audit
Appraises the adequacy of the corrective action implemented or proposed by management
Performs special reviews at the request of Internal Audit Management
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualification Requirements:
Training and/or Experience:
Two to four years’ experience in auditing software, gaming manufacturing, or related fields
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Solid communication skills (both oral and written)
Analytical skills necessary to develop factual reports and present findings through data-gathering, interpretation, compilation, and analysis of information
TeamMate and ACL experience preferred
Education:
Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting
CPA license preferred
