• Long term acute care hospital in southern Nevada is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer.
• The CCO will establish staffing requirements for recruitment, selection and placement of personnel;
• verify nurses credentials; ensure in-service training and education for all department personnel;
• recommend space and resources needed by department;
• work with Quality Director on improvement projects;
• plan, develop, implement and control Nursing Department budget; assist in planning fiscal budget;
• review Hospital Plan for Nursing Care on a yearly basis; represent Nursing Services on hospital and medical staff committees;
• develop long-term and short-term goals/objectives consistent with hospitals philosophy.
• Will also serve as Chairperson of Nurse Council, and participate in hospitals decision-making structures, working with Governing Board, MBC, Senior Management Committee and Quality Council.
• Prior experience in Nurse Management, Nurse Manager positions, Director of Nursing jobs, Chief Nursing Officer job and LTAC job is a plus.

• Qualifications include:
• Bachelors degree in Nursing with current state license or licensable in Nevada;
• Masters Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or clinical specialty preferred;
• equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements;
• should have experience in an acute care hospital or an LTAC;
• minimum 5 years experience in healthcare administration / management with a minimum of 2 years in a senior management level;
• minimum of 5 years experience in hospital management in an acute care environment.
• Prior experience in Nurse Management jobs, Director of Nursing job, CNO jobs, Nurse Director jobs and Long Term Acute Care job is a plus.

• Salary range is $110K to $130K depending on qualifications and experience.
• plus 25% annual bonus potential
