Description
The loan processor will work with Loan Officers to manage the processing of mortgage applications through various investors. The processor will also gather and validate verification documentation on the borrower and the collateral property. * Confirms loan application is complete. * Prepares and mails initial loan disclosures. * Orders credit reports; independently structures loan options and submits loans to appropriate automated underwriting system. * Evaluates AUS findings from Loan technicians and requests required documentation fro borrowers * Review and properly interpret appraisal reports, title reports and other collateral documentation. * Reviews AUS conditions obtained and match conditions to findings * Completes a file review with the loan technicians to confirm terms of loan. * Processes Change Requests as needed. * Responsible to ensure loan origination system is properly updated after each borrower conversation or attempted contact * Delivers completed file to technician for review prior to submission * Submits complete file to Underwriter for final review and underwriting. * Clears all prior-to-doc and prior-to-funding conditions * Order loan docs and closing documentation * Verifies that final loan provides a tangible net benefit to the borrower. * Provides management for feedback on loan process and investor changes * Ensure every loan meets quality and accuracy standards of the Company
