POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversight of enterprise strategies for networking infrastructure. Ensures a comprehensive strategy across technical boundaries and coordinates the design and implementation of evolving technical architecture. The Lead Network Architect works closely with other architects to review technical designs and provide technical direction. This person collaborates with other architects and engineers from other disciplines to ensure the best comprehensive design for the environment. This person may also assist or direct the resolution of complex technical problems.

Researching/information gathering 25%

Testing and validating of solution designs 20%

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct/official supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Four-year degree and 10 years experience in the computing field required or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid Gaming license
- Industry recognized certification in the networking/computing field.
- Vendor specific product training.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to visualize virtual designs and concepts and implement them correctly.
- Technically knowledgeable in core networking disciplines.
- Ability to review trace routes and device logs to effectively problem diagnose.
- Multi-vendor knowledge.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Project/process orientated
- Exhibit excellent communications skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tool suite.
- Hotel/Casino environment awareness.
- Knowledge of a 24x7 business requirements.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Regular scheduled hours Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours.
