Global Aviation Services, LLC provides service to ground support equipment at several locations across the country. We currently have an opening for a GSE Parts and Records Clerk at our Las Vegas, NV location. * 1 - 2 years administrative office experience. * Acquire and apply new and innovative approaches within the work group * Advance change within the company, applying a disciplined approach to change; building commitment, and contributing to an environment where people take calculated risks. * Aggressively pursue the company's business objectives. * Aggressively pursue the priorities and urgency of the business activities for successful shop operations. * Assess situations using some advanced skills or integrate a limited number of alternatives to reach timely and appropriate solutions. * Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing as needed with employees, customers, vendors, and/or regulatory officials. * Communicate with all levels of the organization, customers and vendors in a professional manner. * Complete forms and documents to report shop activities. * Coordinate listening opportunities. * Display a high level of self-discipline and motivation in all situations. * Effectively contribute ideas and processes within the company to prepare for future changes, while maintaining current success and momentum. * Effectively translate ideas into actions within the work group and advance them within the company. * Establish and maintain internal and external relationships and networks within the company. * Foster a collaborative team environment within the shop, engaging other team members through the use of effective input and feedback. * General business knowledge required. * Handle incoming and outgoing mail and express packages. * Keep office in an orderly and professional manner. * Maintain a high level of confidentiality. * Maintain and display commitment to company values. * Maintain high standards of integrity. * Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion. * Operate effective in an environment with frequent changes, as well as occasional stressful situations. Must work constructively in these situations while maintaining a positive attitude. * Order and maintain inventory of company and customer parts. * Order and store breakroom supplies including coffee, soda and condiments for the shop. * Order shop and office supplies, as needed. * Portray a high level of poise and confidence and maintain composure in all situations. * Prepare development goals in conjunction with supervisor/manager and work toward completion of these goals. * Prepare measurable position goals and objectives to meet all position objectives, as well as company goals. * Proactive, planner with a bias toward action. * Reports To: Supervisor/Manager - Aviation Services * Track, report and handle local petty cash funds, without error. * Treat all individuals with fairness and respect and act in accordance with expressed standards. * Type letters, reports, memos and filing. * Update customer GSE maintenance system records directly, is required. * Use Outlook calendar and e-mail for communication. * Work effectively in a team environment within the shop to attain goals and deliver results. * Work with applicants - obtaining information, arranging interviews and coordinate paperwork and information necessary for company's recruiting process
Required Experience:
Certification, License and Physical Data: * Working Conditions: Office and Shop Environment. Minimal Travel Required. * Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday-Friday or as needed to meet operational requirements. Education Data: * High School Diploma or GED. Skills Data: * Excellent oral and written communication skills; outgoing personality. * Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. * Strong organization and administration skills. * Professional, and friendly with a positive attitude.
