Preferred Experience: * 2+ years of retail Experience, wholesale or branded apparel experience * Department Store Line experience * Previous work as a retail coordinator or regional at an Apparel/Beauty/Accessories/Footwear Company Job Description: This position may work with one or more Winston Retail Solutions brands to support their on floor presence through merchandising, point of sale placement and providing in-store training on product knowledge and merchandising standards to store-line personnel.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Merchandising of product category utilizing client directives: * Ensure compelling, accurate, and creative visual presentation * Manage inventory through stock replenishment * Implement all Point of Sale materials and any branding collateral 2. Communicate Effectively accomplishments at the department and door level to Winston Retail Solutions and the Client: * Completion of standard/specialized reports (as directed), highlighting any opportunities for improvement and procuring any information as requested by the report content * Photography, effectively depicting the status of the client’s environments before and after your work is completed 3. Develop in-store relationships to maximize opportunities at retail: * Train Sales associates/Specialists/Department and Visual Managers on client merchandising initiatives and brand recognition * Inspire sales through empowerment * Negotiate better real estate locations or maintain locations as appropriate Abilities and Skills: * Influence * Negotiate * Superior Merchandising Skills * Natural Creativity * Implementation of client creative/merchandising/visual directives * Results oriented * Understanding of wholesale and retail hierarchies * Retail math * Intermediate to advanced computer skills (excel, email, digital photography, word) * Business writing skills Key Characteristics of candidate:
This candidate must be a self starter, well organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This candidate must be able to adjust to the change regularly and be motivated by working with different brands and product categories in various retail environments. The candidate must also be willing to grow with a start up organization and work as a team member during the developmental phases. Must be willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
Working Conditions and Requirements:
