Job Description:



 Manage the overall daily office operations of sales department.  Highly visible role which will require support and work with executives and various departments across the organization related to sales administration.  Develop and implement organizational standard operating procedures and manage administrative staff of 8-10.  
* Lead and manage team of 8-10 people.  Staff responsibilities include tracking sales results versus objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, lead distribution, site coordination, Delphi Function Diary management and approval of Hotel meeting space.
 
* Establish and implement  Standard Operating Procedures 
 
* Identify tools, processes and technology to enhance sales force effectiveness and productivity, increase customer satisfaction and mobilize the appropriate support functions necessary for successful completion. 
 
* Prepare and maintain departmental goals, expenses and budgets 
 
* Develop and maintain employee satisfaction programs 
 
* Develop strong relationships with revenue, finance departments to fully understand business processes, analysis to effectively streamline reports 
 
* Interacts with all hotel departments to effectively communicate SOP’s and processes.

Job Requirements:




 Minimum Employment Requirements:21years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, A Bachelors Degree in Business or related field with 5 years in a leadership or supervisory position with related responsibilities. 2 years previous experience in hotel sales administration.   

Specific Position Requirements: Exceptional communication skills internally and externally across all levels with a strong ability to provide direction, influence, organize, lead and facilitate a team and processes.  Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, organize, work independently to train and guide or assist others to perform complex assignments.  Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to VCR appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the VCR Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.  Extensive Delphi knowledge required.
 
Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.  Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction. Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property
* Ability to manage multiple projects as a high- energy leader
* 3-5 years of experience managing New Market Delphi, CRM management a plus
* Some business analysis experience (including implementation, tracking, problem resolution and reporting) preferred
* Successful track record of working with managers, executives at high levels within organization
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills
* Strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills
* Must have attention to detail, a commitment to quality and be results driven and customer focused
* Produce high quality work with key attention to detail
