Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Corporate Senior Analyst of Analytics& Campaign is to facilitate best practices in competitive intelligence, marketing analytics, and predictive modeling across all LV Sands properties. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands policies, practices, and procedures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work with properties and support the Corporate Director of Analytics and Campaigns to build and refine models that (a) predict revenue potential, (b) match the best offer based on historical behavior and stated preferences that maximizes revenue capture, and (c) predict attrition and match the best offer that minimizes attrition.
* Analyze volumes of data and identify patterns or trends that might be leveraged in (a) refining segmentation and targeting efforts, (b) lifecycle-based marketing communications, and (c) real-time, on-property communications.
* Develop, maintain and syndicate (a) cross-property dashboards that measure predictive modeling progress against marketing goals and identify opportunities for model changes to close gaps, (b) cross-property dashboards that measure campaign progress and reinvestment levels against marketing goals and identify opportunities for campaigns and reinvestment changes to close gaps, and (c) cross-property competitive benchmarks that measure reinvestment programs and levels against competition and identify opportunities for campaigns and reinvestment changes to grow share while maintaining profitability
* Advocate marketing experimentation using test and controls, and cross-property campaigns.
* Facilitate user adoption of data warehouse and SAS, mentor team members in the maximized use of the data warehouse and SAS, and shepherd the continuous improvement of LVS’ data warehouse, predictive modeling and marketing analytic tools
* Research predictive modeling best practices from other industries and recommend application to LVS to maintain LVS at the forefront of predictive modeling; develop/gather, and document/syndicate best practices for reinvestment, staged campaign management, real-time campaign management, campaign analysis and promotion/event analysis.
* Provide analytic support to the rest of the Corp CRM and Loyalty team, and other tasks as required by management
Job Requirements:
Minimum Employment Requirements: 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, Singapore or Macau; advance degree in the field of mathematics or statisticsUnited States, High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LVS appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the LVS Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Specific Position Requirements: * Minimum 3 to 6 years experience in competitive intelligence, marketing analytics and predictive modeling in the gaming/hospitality, financial services or internet/mobile industries in the US or Asia; familiarity with gathering competitive intelligence from secondary sources and mystery shopper programs; advanced SAS programming (including base SAS, SAS eGuide and SAS eMiner) and statistical analysis skills; expertise in working with large volumes of data and in building, deploying and measuring (a) predictive analytics models and (b) test/control offers; facility with cross-property campaigns/promotions design, structuring of accurate measurement of campaigns/promotions across channels, synthesizing results and recommendations to optimize existing campaigns/promotions, and documenting and standardizing existing and new programs and processes; proven track record in applying and continuously refining predictive analytical skills and marketing experimental design to increasing consumer response and revenue. * This position reports to Corporate in Las Vegas, and may be based in Las Vegas, Singapore or Macau. Willingness to travel for and work in Las Vegas, Singapore or Macau for extended periods of time; ability to complete multiple tasks and to proactively impact the business; ability to synthesize findings, insight and recommendations from data and analytics; superior cross-functional team and structured project management skills; excellent communication and coaching skills

Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction. Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property. Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned. Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives. Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner. Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness. Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
