Job Description:



The primary purpose of the Corporate Director of Analytics and Campaigns is to maximize the use and benefit from the data warehouse, predictive modeling, campaign management, rules engine and business intelligence tools across the properties.  The data warehouse is to be the repository for relevant information of customers across segments (e.g. casino, FIT, group attendee, group organizer) needed for analytics and campaigns.  The predictive models are to optimize the reinvestment and campaign strategy, and are to be customized for the specific market and competitive situation.  Campaigns are to be managed by customer segment, by test/control offers, and by channel from offer design thru deployment and response thru post-analysis.  The rules engine is to be leveraged for real-time rules that leverage perishable assets to market to the customer profitably while on-property.  The business intelligence tool is to be leveraged for automated, self-service reports and cross-property, real-time dashboards. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sand’s policies, practices, and procedures.

             


Job Requirements:



 Minimum Employment Requirements:
21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States,Macau and Singapore. Advance degree in the field of mathematics or statistics. High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to LVS appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the LVS Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.


 
Specific Position Requirements: 
* Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in predictive analytics in the gaming/hospitality, financial services or internet/mobile industries; expertise with SAS (SAS Data Flux, eGuide, CI, eMiner, Report Studio) and Microsoft Dynamics preferred; direct involvement in working with large volumes of data, and building, deploying and measuring (a) predictive analytics models, (b) test/control offers, and (c) real-time marketing rules; experience with US and Asian markets preferred; proven track record in applying predictive analytical skills to increase customer response and revenue. 
* Willingness to travel to and work in Macau and Singapore for extended periods of time; ability to complete multiple tasks and to proactively impact the business; ability to synthesize findings, insight and recommendations from data and analytics; superior cross-functional team and structured project management skills; excellent communication and coaching skills
Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment. Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. Must be able to frequently move freely about the office, maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc., withstand various activities such as frequent walking, sitting for long periods and withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction. Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property. 
 
Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks assigned. Must be able to work with others, communicate well, give direction, review the work of others, and provide guidance and counsel when needed to achieve department goals and objectives. Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner. Must be able to address stressful situations with clients with dignity and the utmost tact and politeness. Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non-hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
