Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Specialist I Cleaning - Internal Maintenance is to clean the casino to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Palazzo Casino Resort?s policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Employment Requirements: 21 years of age. Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills with focused attention to guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to VCR appearance standards, maintain consistent adherence to the VCR Unmatched Guest Service Standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Specific Position Requirements: 6 months experience cleaning Janitorial or housekeeping duties required. Must possess knowledge of proper chemical handling. Must demonstrate the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, and maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure. Must be able to access all areas of the property. Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, fumes and/or odors, around chemicals, under variable temperature conditions, use sight to perform job functions, use smell to ensure product quality and safety, ability to operate a commercial vacuum cleaner, must be able to communicate on a two-way radio, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and push 50 pounds.
