Job responsibilities includeensuring accurate materials coverage through external and internal sources in coordination with the internal supervisors as well outside suppliers. You will maintain top level planning for the business unit in coordination with the Business Unit Manager as well as inventory reduction and strategic supplier management activities.
This person must use MRP/ERP and other tools to ensure a continuous supply of needed materialsas they are responsible for all materials procured, vendor selection, and maintaining monthly receipts and budgets. You will also support the shop floor production supervisors with prompt delivery of information and establish working business relationships with s individual supports materials management activities directly to the Materials Director.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in Engineering or Business Administration; or one to two years related experience is required.
