Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer
A key component to the U.S. military's pre-eminence in the field is the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. As a member of the team that keeps the vehicle running and operating properly, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer is a vital part of the Army's military dominance.
Some of your duties may include: diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions; performing maintenance and on-board direct support tasks on suspension systems and steering systems; performing maintenance on fire extinguisher and suppression systems; and performing maintenance on gas particulate systems, vehicular mounted armament, and associated fire control systems.
Plus, the skills you learn as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer will help prepare you for a future at auto and construction equipment dealers, farm equipment companies, and state highway agencies. You'll be able to pursue a career as a garage mechanic, carburetor mechanic, transmission mechanic, radiator mechanic, construction equipment mechanic, or endless track vehicle mechanic.

Job training for a Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer requires 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field.
