ArcSight SIEM Engineer/Manager

Currently looking for a SIEM (Security Information and Event Manager) for a Fortune 500 company in Las Vegas, NV. This person will be responsible for developing content for a complex and growing ArcSight Infrastructure. The SIEM system outside of ArcSight will include SmartConnectors, Logger Appliances, network devices, and Windows/Unix servers. Other duties include maintaining security requirements for the ArcSight system, along with supporting the establishment, enhancement, and continual improvement of correlation rules, alerts, searches, reports, and responses. Life Cycle management of the ArcSight platforms for future coordination of upgrades, new deployments, and maintaining operational data flows will also be required. This is a contract to hire position and involves no relocation assistance for out of state candidates.
