Job Title: Accounts Receivable Manager
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Corporate Controller
Summary
The AR Manager is charged with the proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customers requirements. He or she shall work with any and all personnel to assure timely and accurate invoicing and rating occurs. The AR Manager will at times be required to interface with operational managers and occasionally with the Executive Management Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manages and coordinates activities required to ensure an accurate accounts receivable system.
- Maintain the accounts receivable ledger in Navision including account transitions from various systems
- Establish, implement and maintain collection policies and procedures across multiple companies
- Work directly with operations managers to ensure collections
- Ensures customers are invoiced accurately and timely, and invoices are collected in a timely manner.
- Supports management requests and the annual audit process.
- Ensures accuracy of customer billing and processes accordingly.
- Processes credit memos.
- Ensures timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Revenue and expense analysis at month-end close.
- Ensures proper recording of customer invoices in accounting system.
- Oversees daily deposits.
- Ensures proper documentation supports all customer invoices.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises 1 - 5 employees in the accounts receivable department.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; 4-5 years accounts receivable management experience; Accounting system transition and integration as it relates to accounts receivable.
Communication Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and customers as needed, both verbally and written.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and specifically to the accounts receivable function.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
- Microsoft Dynamics Navision and/or Great Plains
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Microsoft Word
- Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox
Other Skills and Abilities
- Must have the ability to mentor and coach subordinates.
- Must work well individually and in a team environment.
- Must have prior experience of accounts receivable.
- Must be detail-orientated and organized.
